MY OWN VERSION OF MANGO BRAVO CAKE

When we talk about cakes, this the most talk of the town.  The most best-selling cakes in the Philippines - can be found at Conti's.  No one posted this recipe in google unlike other cakes like red ribbon, chocolate mousse, lemon torte - you can replicate them by following the recipes.  This cake was very challenging to imitate.  So i panned to bake my own version in my house but in a medium size only 'coz my fridge is loaded with different desserts and foods.  Mango Bravo is one of the Wonderful desserts. Awesome cake. That’s how Conti’s Pastry Shop & Restaurant say in its menu. And if the photos are enough to induce a mouth-watering craving, it describes one of our favorites: Layers of wafer, cream and fresh mangoes coated with whipped cream icing, chocolate mousse topped with fresh mangoes/cashew nuts and drizzled with chocolate syrup.

The taste is just the same as with Conti's recipe and it drives me crazy!  Feels like heavenly.  The chocolate mousse is just terrific!  I also made mango mousse topped with mango chunks and cashews.

We always enjoy the Mango Bravo, so much so that we almost forgot to take photos. Truth be told, this is the ONLY item in the menu that we order at Conti’s. Of course this should not be taken as an indication of the quality of the rest of the food in Conti’s (because we have not tried them yet).
Now i'm just baking my own cakes and it's less expensive plus you can lessen the sugar content of it if you're health conscious.  Cakes are the superstar of any occasions..the happiness of all kids..And adults like me hehe!
How would you imagine an occasion like birthday, wedding or reunions without cakes? I couldn't so i won't let any birthdays passed without cakes in the table.
